Healthcare personnel logs in to the service with their individual access codes using a secure https internet connection.

Healthcare personnel enter patient information and possible initial values relevant to the study or treatment, to the service.

The service automatically sends a text message to the patient at a previously agreed time. The patient is asked a question relevant to the study or treatment. The patient answers easily with his or her own mobile phone.

The service automatically classifies patients' answers in different categories:

  1. Patients who need actions performed by healthcare personnel
  2. Patients who do not need any actions.

The service generates graphs according to patients' responses, such as the development of therapeutic control. If the values exceed or fall below the set alarm limits, the service sends a text message instructing the patient to take corrective action.

The monitor report generated by the service significantly facilitates monitoring in clinical pharmaceutical trials.
